The MySQL Query Analyzer helps you improve application performance by monitoring query performance and accurately pinpointing SQL code that is causing a slow down. Queries are presented in an aggregated view across all MySQL servers so you can analyze your most expensive code by total executions, total run time, total data size and by using drill downs into sampled executions and EXPLAIN results. With the MySQL Query Analyzer, you can improve the SQL code during active development, and continuously monitor and tune the queries in production.
MySQL Query Analyzer provides you with the following benefits:
The MySQL Query Analyzer saves you time and effort in finding and fixing problem queries by providing:
"The new MySQL Query Analyzer gives us a better level of visibility into our database performance that we have never had before. Not only does it save us both time and resources, it allows us to be far better prepared when these applications go live, understanding exactly the demands that will be placed on the system."

The MySQL Query Analyzer is installed with the Service Agent. It is enabled during agent installation and can be toggled between collection and pass-thru modes from the Query Analysis page of the Enterprise Monitor. The architecture of the MySQL Query Analyzer is shown below.
The MySQL Query Analyzer provides you an in-depth view of the SQL code by summarizing all queries and aggregating execution statistics in a single panel, making it easier than ever to achieve peak performance on MySQL.
